The BYTES youth section began in 1997 with their first production, The Railway Children,local actress Emily Aston played Roberta, her agent recommended she gained some stage experience as she had mainly worked in TV and Film. She joined the cast of the next  BYTES play the Pied Piper and even played Fairy Boobells in Pantomime.

From Annie to Les MIserables, two award winning productions, BYTES have explored Musicals, Shakespeare, taken part in  the BAODS plays and pantomimes in the Royal Court Theatre environment.

 The Saturday morning sessions use the rehearsal space and main stage area ensuring a great learning experience.

Past members have studied Drama and Dance at the top universities, Guildford School of Acting, Manchester  University, Bristol and the London Musical and Dance College Bird Academy. They  work as Sound and Light technicians in the West End and many are successful teachers of dance and drama in Britain and abroad.

All children gain confidence on stage and make great friendships, supporting each other to produce the best results for the team.
